Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community.

Volunteering is even better when you can hang out with dog loving people who are all working toward saving Alabama’s bullies! All of our Running for the Bulls volunteers will receive a free short-sleeve event t-shirt. Please fill out the form below to sign up to volunteer. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you about two weeks before the race to give you your assignment.

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Homewood Trak Shak on Friday 4/5/2024

10:30 - 1:00

1:00 - 3:30

3:30 - 6:00

• Race day at Oak Mountain State Park on Saturday 4/6/2023 starting at 7:00 am

  -Setup - some heavy lifting involved

  -Volunteer Check-in - hand out t-shirts & badges to volunteers

  -Race registration - handle on-site registrations and hand out race packets

  -Greeter - help attendees find what they need

  -Merchandise Sales - organize BBR merchandise and take payments

  -Raffle Table - accept payment for raffle tickets

  -Course Marshall - help direct runners and walkers on the route

  -Dog water stations - fill up doggy water bowls and kiddie pools

  -Human water stations - hand out cups of liquid refreshment to runners

  -Refreshment table - keep goodies stocked for hungry runners and walkers

  -Teardown and cleanup - put everything away in boxes and police the area for trash
