GUS
Here's Gus, all boy with a heart as big as his muscles. This gorgeous guy was found on the side of the road with his best friend Millie. Gus has eyes that communicate. He is smart, housetrained, and loving. It takes a big lap to hold him, but that is where he likes to be, all 60 pounds of him with his chin on your chest looking into your eyes! He does like to chase the deer that are in the woods around our home, so he will need a secure fence. His other sport is chasing lizards, but I don't know if he has ever caught one and I don’t want to know! Basically, Gus is a big lug with lots of playful puppy in him! He is thought to be about 4 to 5 years old. From his behavior, I believe he has always been a pet, one with the mystery of how he came to be lost and worried on the shoulder of the highway. He has beautiful markings and is a real attention-getter. I bet he was the cutest puppy! In many ways, he still is.
